WWII page!
The center panel may be the smallest, but it packs the biggest wallop!
All of the panels exhibit the acts of war. Great to see Fred Ray interior originals.
Nice war page from the 40s!
Excellent page! Ray engages the reader by telling the story from a variety of nicely-drawn perspectives. The second panel of the battle is particuarly noteworthy, with the Marines in the foreground, invading ships and planes in the background, and an explosion helping to frame the panel. The panel-breaking "CHARGE" dialogue balloon fuels the page's energy. Congratulations!
