Description
Captain America 309 p21
Paul Neary and Dennis Janke

FIRST APPEARANCE of NOMAD catching a villain all by himself! says Nomad. Yeah appearance call outs have gotten zonkers. I've even seen a page quoted as being the 2nd appearance of a 3rd tier character's Grandmother! Too funny.

I miss out on most Nomad related pages nowadays. Somehow, I scored this from BritComicsArt. I really enjoyed Captain America in the mid-late 80s. The issues Nomad took on 'The Slug', his interactions w/Falcon and D-Man trekking cross country searching for Steve Rogers, his respect for Cap & Falcon and total disrespect for D-Man had a dynamic that read well to me along with his increasing hostility.

Thanks to Paul Neary and Joseph at BritComicsArt!

Nice! I saw this posted on Brits Comic Art and actually reached out to try to get it too. At the time I thought I had gotten it and then Joseph e-mailed me and said someone had beat me to it...! Glad it was you Bo! Luckily I asked if he had any other Neary Nomad pages that weren't posted yet and I was able to grab a nice half splash from Cap 307 that was also used in Nomad's original Marvel Handbook page...

PS - I swear I have nothing to do with any Nomad draught... ;)  You have such an awesome Nomad collection after all with some incredible pieces I am highly jealous of (as you know)...!

Oh wow, you must have slept in, Nathan! Yeah, I didn't want to call you out directly...you or the guy with the Grandmother appearance page.

That's cool you grabbed a page from Joseph/Paul and that it was used in the original handbook! Things work out well sometimes. It's funny, I have the page that has the panel used on the flipside of the Nomad handbook master edition piece you rolled up on w/a Brink's truck. :)

Lol. Nice! Yes I can't beieve I had to get into that Brink's truck but I did! I think I'm in the "unheatlthy obsession" with a character zone at this point...
