Anyone else would have just done a solid field of green for grass and solid brown for the tree bark. Each blade of grass and rings on the trees shows the extra effort made as an expression of love for the kids.
Very astute! And then the 7-year-old, after marveling at the detail, humbled me with an almost exact copy.
Little hands work nimbly. It's why they want to lower age limits for employment.
