A fellow CAF member pointed me to Paul's art drops some time back. Maybe my clicking skills have improved lately as I managed to acquire a few. This one and another, I feel are Avengers Annual 10 tributes. I don't think we saw Rogue permanently steal Ms Marvel's powers in the issue. But, it was Rogue's first appearance and where we learn she did.

A scene like this certainly would have fit into the story when they were explaining why Carol was in her hospital bed. It has the early look with Rogue looking more mature by Golden than later shown with the X-Men.
