Description

As unpredictable as my con pickups ended up being, this one was expected as I'd commissioned it pre-show, but even that was not initially planned but some miscommunication with another artists attendance led me to go for this. Reverend Dave Johnson is a well regarded and respected stable in the industry who's drawn almost every corner of the comics realm.... and made it look really good while doing it.

So I while some artists I'll consider my choices with regard to what would best fit their style, I knew going in I could pretty much request anyone from Johnson and walk away happy. In other words, a perfect fit for my usual, and he of course killed it. Love the expression, the texture of the jacket, and the cool gun(Johnson is particularly good at drawing those). Happy to add this one to the repertoire!

Excellent using the different brush techniques for the fur vs the costume. The smile is Rocket showing us he's up to no good!
