Description

I think this is one of the best (if not the best) Superman covers that Kerry Gammill ever did. The details on this piece are incredible. The comic title and other DC-related imprinting is actually on a separate piece of acetate overlay so that it is not part of the artwork itself. It sits on top so that it can be moved back to get a better view of the awesome detail underneath. I think Kerry is one of the best Superman artists ever and his work is highly underrated in my opinion.

Great homage to the Nick Fury #6 cover by Gammill! Jim Steranko must have inspired them to do their best!

A truly iconic Superman cover ! I agree with your sentiments regarding Gammill's talents, easily in my top 5 Superman artists of all time !
