DescriptionNever thought I would own the art for a VHS tape… but hey it’s X-men and it’s awesome! For a lot of people the introduction to the X-men mythology was the 90s cartoon ,not me I was already indoctrinated long before that… but I still loved the cartoon! Looking at this piece I hear the theme song playing in my head and it just fills me with warm memories…Ty Templeton is known for his Batman Animated work , and does a great job capturing the imagery of the cartoon on the sinister cover (pun intended). This tape was the Jean and Scott wedding episodes.. a big deal no matter what X universe it’s in! Thanks Brian for letting this one go.Social/Sharing |

Fabulous VHS cover by Ty Templeton! I love the stylized portrait of Mister Sinister here--It really captures the character of the villain! Lovely insets around Sinister as well. The two lovebirds at the top, the group shot of the X-Men being shot at, the closeups of Jubilee and Storm--It's just a fabulous grab bag of cool images all brought together in one cover! Great pick-up!

Jean and Scott wedding tape? Oh, the art for it. Love the animated series, and this was a fun set of episodes- Jean and Scott getting married, plus Morph returning, all tied together in a Sinister knot.
