Harkening back to the classic Detective Comics #572 (March, 1987) that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the title as well as the 100th Anniversary of Sherlock Holmes, this sketch features both the Dark Knight Detective and the Great Detective.

A natural pairing of detectives!  DC writers were pushing this idea with more standalone detective stories during those years.  Davis' art is very well suited to bring that level of sophistication and mystery to Batman.
