Description

I invited Dean Juliette to make a DPS of Jabba's throne room with as many characters as he could make sense to include. He rose to the occasion, choosing the moment when Luke attempts to shoot Jabba, sending the throne room and its denizens into chaos.

Luke and Leia's arms are raised in mirror image, suggesting the psychic link between the siblings, who are rendered in black and white respectively. Max Rebo's band is far right, except Twi'lek backup singer Lyn Me (named after singer Linn Minmay from Robotech?) can be seen in the bottom left corner. You may recall that Jabba's Twi'lek dancer Oola has fallen into the Rancor pit already by this moment in the story; the slightly open pit is evident beneath Jabba's platform, probably resetting to drop Luke into it a few moments from now.

The commission evolved over a couple of months, with Juliette sending regular updates as seen in the additional images. A digital rough led to a detailed digital piece which was printed and then inked, including wash tones.

Juliette does make it big and presents it a full range of emotion across the entire board like a renaissance piece.

I don't think this could get any more incredible. It's as though he told the cast of RTOJ ""Everyone move together now...!" and took a photo for reference.
