Description

The heroes have to figure out where in Chile their enemy, Condor the Master of Night, is hiding.

(Baldwyn examines a map.) "It's a big country. Condor could be anywhere! Maybe not even in Chile!"

(Harlan) "I'm counting on Erwin Rogers to take us to him, hoping he appreciates our rescue."

"And hoping he's willing to talk."

"Tesla is trying to convince him."

(Tesla has been feeding on Erwin's blood.) "Not bad! Now I can say I'm in good shape, thanks to you, dear Erwin! How do you feel?

"Very weak. But you don't scare me, vampire! You don't have the power… to turn me undead! You can only bleed me… kill me. Drink all my blood! I don't care about dying!"

"Stubborn guy, huh? come, I'll take you upstairs!"

(Teresa) "Another night in this house! But it will be the last, Commander Baldwyn, Staying any longer would minimize our margin of safety!"

(Baldwyn) "We'll leave at dawn, Teresa."

It's a great horror visual with that camera angle in the first panel unnaturally stretching and leaning the house, then you have the darkened interiors where they are making plans with a heavy atmosphere where they don't know if things will work, waiting for sundown, waiting and pondering, ...waiting for what might be their doom.

That house gives me the creeps, and Tesla's the best!

Yes, the Dutch Angle in the first panel is subtly unsettling.
