Montana Hitch, was made for the cover of the novel "Montana Hitch" from the writer Richard S. Wheeler, published by Tor Books editorial (USA). Bastei acquired the novel with the cover by Royo.

It is a very unique piece in Luis Royo’s trajectory as he almost never uses pigment that way, leaving the prominence of the brushtrokes adding plasticity to the piece.
