DescriptionI... cannot believe I finally have this piece. This page stuck out to me the first time I read it. Daredevil. Bullseye. Nemeses, and this page showcases their rivalry like no other. DD knocks out Bullseye's teeth, and he immediately uses them as a weapon! Wow.I looked all over and eventually found it was at Kevin Smith's Secret Stash in NJ. Even took a trip from CA to see it! They invited me on the show to try to negotiate for it, but Smith wanted $20-30K for it, saying it was the single piece he was most proud of writing. Ah! Bummed, I stumbled across the subsequent page at NYCC that year, literally buried in a box. I got it for a song because it clearly had been misplaced and the price not updated. I loved that page and accepted it as my consolation prize... until Kevin Smith auctioned off all his art last month! Can't believe I won this gem, from Kevin Smith, after all this time. Cool to hear him confirm it's the thing he's most proud of - so much so that he had Marvel put the text on the page (it was done digitally for publication). I am happy to have yet another white whale! Thanks to Chris for buying my old page! Social/Sharing |

What a battle page and may be the most anticipated confrontation of the Marvel Knights reboot at the time! Legendary stuff as this was the start of the journey back from the brink for Marvel.

HUGE congrats, Matt! Outstanding page and key scene from a modern classic! Wowie. I'm sure those inks are striking in person. Congrats, again!
