DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Large and impressive 25.25x31.5" frame contains mixed media original art cover recreation for All Star Comics #36 (Aug.-Sept. 1947) featuring Golden Age Justice Society of America members Doctor Mid-Nite, Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Green Lantern and The Flash joined by that issue's guest stars Superman and Batman. Art was recreated by the original cover artist, Irwin Hasen (1918-2015), noted for his 1940s work on Green Lantern and for creating Justice Society of America member Wildcat. All text has been neatly hand-lettered and Hasen has signed art at lower right. Art has been professionally and attractively double-matted and displays Exc. Harry Matetsky Collection.
