Complete 17 original story pages plus cover. Classic Bronze Age New X-Men storyline "The Gentleman's Name Is Magneto" by Chris Claremont with art by Dave Cockrum and Sam Grainger. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper w/"Marvel Masterworks X-Men" stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Story and cover color guides are original to 1977 comic issue and were re-used to reprint as Marvel Masterworks #12 that reprinted issues #101-110. August 1990. Lt. aging/handling wear and some tiny edge tears but overall clean. Pages may have cut in panels and corrections as part of the creative process. Also of interest, cover includes Magneto figure version with magnetic waves covering him, more similar to original X-Men #1 cover that this honors. Overall pages display VF.
