DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, and this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to No. 224, published in 1962. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9" and depicts duel in space, w/one spaceman shooting another w/ray gun. Title is hand-painted/lettered and neatly clipped, having been glued to art at lower right as designed. "Colección Luchadores Del Espacio" title stat pasted below story title. Left margin has hand-painted story title and "V.A. Carter" name, w/printed stat of author name pasted at upper right. "Lanzon" artist name signed at lower right corner. Exc.
