Description

My portrait by legendary CROC artist Gité, done in 1994 at the Salon du Livre de Montréal. I was waiting for another artist to come at the magazine booth to get a sketch, and was a bit disappointed when Gité showed up instead. But I quickly turned around because he was a good guy and a very talented artist. It happened to be the only encounter I got with him, and didn't know then how important his art would be for me later on regarding my collection...

1994 is a good year and looking at an almost 30 year old portrait of yourself must be a journey upon reflection of all that's changed since.
