I was asked to create this piece as a storybook illustration. For the number of details, I think it worked out great in this style. I wanted to present a couple from every house. This gave me a chance to work on costumes across all the kingdoms. There was a call for some drapery and I thought the larger sash and bow across the top would work out well with the card frame in mind.
