Not many series make it to issue #179, especially in the world of creator-owned publishing. In this issue, three alien teens are on the run from their mom and her squad of robot goons. On page 9, their human ally Kathy Copper activates Gizmo, an android who looks a lot like Inspector Gadget. He initially attacks her until she activates his "serve and protect” subroutine. The issue's title is "Gizmos and Gadgets" for obvious reasons.
By page 22, Anna and Professor Steamhead are mind-melding with Petunia. Her mind is pretty dark!
