Description

So my Mom decided to give me and my brothers some money just because she loves us. So what is a comic art collector to do??? BUY ART OF COURSE!!! I needed a Professor X example in the worst way. Enter the Italian art dealer TAVOLEORIGINALI.NET's CAF account. It was here I obviously found my Professor X example. This piece had been on my radar for the longest time. What kept me from buying it was that it was from the ultimate universe. I was aiming to get an example from the main universe.

After going through my collection though I realized that not all of my art comes from the main universe. Also, the ultimate Professor X is in a wheel chair and uses psychic powers just like his other universe counterpart. This is what lead me to buy this nice piece here. Also take note that this image was published twice. Once in color and once in black and white. Please see the other images. Mom is probably wondering why you bought a drawing of Yul Brynner! I think it's pretty cool to have an Ultimatum cover as the Ultimate Universe is officially back with the current Ultimate Invasion series.

I always dug on this cover how the perspective's coming straight down Prof looking up! Makes you feel like his power is FAR reaching, which we all know it is :) Congrats!

Awesome Professor X cover! Love the simplicity of the image and how it perfectly captures the essence of the character. Thank goodness for great moms! Every once in a while, I get some money from my mom, and it goes straight into art. Well, let's face it, all of my money goes straight into art. Oh well, what can I say? I love art!!
