I’m really digging Joshua Cassara’s work on X-Men. He’s one of my favourite newer Marvel artists and thankfully still working traditionally on interiors putting pencil and ink to paper.

I love this page. Like in most of Cassara’s work the scene he sets in each panel really feel alive. Plenty of detail to pore over; Forge doing his technology thing with a Christmas hat wearing Wolverine skeleton in the background, and Cyclops pensive as always, sans skullcap, rocking 90’s style overly detailed Jim Lee hair.

Great X-Men page! Cassara is so talented, really one of the brightest stars in comics today. I can only imagine what he'll do in the future.

Fantastic art and a really amazing artist, I agree that I could have a full collection of his work and be very happy. Congrats on this beautiful addition to your collection.

Pretty subtle in the Christmas theme, but Cassara pulls it off perfectly with inks and ink wash. You can see who's the life of the party and the star on this page.

Cassara's art is so nice up close. His inks are very cool to pore over. Not only does this page have the team, a very cool shot of Forge, and some very pretty Cyclops hair, but it also features Chicago's very own Woofer in the top left panel. He has a fun, if kinda unfortunate, power and I wouldn't be mad if he turned up in more books haha.
