Description

I remember placing a request back in Sept '20 for a Ron Frenz commission. At the time I was looking for a sketch cover. But after a year, I got into OA and now I was looking for a bigger commission piece. Scott reached out and I requested an ASM 136 homage but instead of using the Green Goblin...I wanted the Hobgoblin. I just remember collecting that run during the mid 80s. And Frenz didn't disappoint. I kept both pencils and inks on separate boards.

This layout works amazingly well to push the camera in and get more of the facial expressions and to center the action. The classic Spider-sense, the underarm webbing, and the crazed Hobgoblin smile are all very charming details put in by Frenz and Breeding.
