Description
Though not exactly comic illustration I have to admit that the subject of this simple and engaging watercolour proved an excellent dining companion for several meals during the covid lockdown a few years ago - and delightful she was (is) thanks to the brushes and pencil of 'Rose', a top rate UK draughtswoman. Love the effect of how the displaced vest is arranged too! (28.5x19.2cm)
