Description

This was sent to me by mail by Dimitri, a French artist that created the Goulag series (and numerous others during its 50+ years career), after a request I made via his then publisher Gl�nat. Also know as Guy Mouminoux, or Dimitri Lahache, he wrote a memoir about his adventure as a forced teenager conscript in the Wehrmacht during WW2 under the pseudonym Guy Sajer. "The Forgotten Soldier" actually sold pretty well after it was published in 1967, but wrecked havoc in his relations with other comic book artists when he was outed. Nevertheless, Dimitri continued drawing until his death in 2022...
The low resolution is voluntary, as I noticed years ago that a previous JPG version had been used by a new breed of internet fascists for glorification of things that nobody in his right mind would support. Still happy about this gift, but sorry that it was repurposed for wrong reasons...
