The last of my recent CAL pick ups. The issue this page is from kicks off the story arc where Caitlyn has lost her powers and the rest of Gen 13 are trying to figure out a way to restore them while Caitlyn copes with her new state of powerless-ness. Meanwhile, over in Brooklyn a street gang find a taxi with the driver and passengers all shot dead. When one of the members goes to loot the taxi he finds a suitcase filled with 5 strange glowing necklaces.

That's where we get to this page where the gang heads back to their base to try on the necklaces, the girl especially happy with how it looks on her, and most of the guys drinking to celebrate their recent score (and one pondering to rename their group the Brooklyn Broaches which doesn't make much sense to me since they got necklaces, not broaches). However, we see in the bottom panel an ominous shot of the last guy who's necklace seems to be doing more than just being a fashion accessory.

This is a more low key page, none of the main characters are on it, but I still love it!
