Here Comes The Cookie Crew...

I learned of Sam Grinberg via Athenaeum Comic Art and, on Instagram, saw him penciling a comic featuring characters with heads that were some of my favorite cookies.

I had seen enough.

I reached out to Sean at Athenaeum with a fair offer before the story was even done and took down the short story complete.

Sam's got a fun, precise cartooning style, which makes sense given his day job as a character design artist on The Simpsons.

Published in the Dark Side of the Food issue of Zine Panique.
