Description

I remember as a kid buying this comic as a back issue with my paper route money. I had to go all the way from my town in Quincy, MA to Brockton, MA to Stan's Joke Shop which involved taking three buses. I did come home with a nice pile of comics as a twelve-year-old. So, I was quite pleased when I had the opportunity to actually buy this cover and revel in all the heroes that are portrayed on it.

I remember this cover very well as a young man.I also bought all my early comics from my paper route too.An awesome cover to behold !

Awesome cover! That's a lot of heroes for 25 cents. I love pieces like this that combo two spectacular artists--you see Marie in the layouts but Romita in the finishes; but it's also more subtle than that, as it looks like Marie did the inking on Subby's face (I think she was working on his title at that time)--while you really see Romita in Giant Man and the X-Men. Everyone looks good but Iron Man looks particularly great!
