Bat-tober is over. So, I thought I�d share some Matt Wagner Batman pages.

IMO, DC should be looking to Matt Wagner to put out some more Batman stories. Matt Wagner�s ideas, writing, and how he illustrates them are miles above what most creators produce when given a shot at the character. This page comes across as very simple until you look at how Matt�s spacing, panel sizing, and tossing a cigarette moves the reader�s eyes across the page.

BTW, Gordon is getting rid of how he communicates with Batman on this page. Gordon is tired of being in the shadows and wants an aboveboard way of summoning the Dark Knight. Hmm, what do you think he might come up with? LOL.

Pretty cool with Batman bascially standing there letting Gordon act like a child. Of course Gordon will come up with that red phone for the Bat Hotline.
