Description
I am beyond excited to own this piece. I picked it up last week on The Deuling Dealers of Comic Art and just received it today. I was so thrilled that I couldn't wait to post it.

I have always had a soft spot for Spider-Man. My first OA piece for myself was a Spider-Man illustration. However, I quickly noticed that he is not an easy character to collect. I have gone years without trying to tackle a Spider-Man piece due to the mark-up on the character for anything even close to memorable. However, I now have a semi-historic Spider-Man piece and I couldn't be more than thrilled. See additional images of the back of the page, which states: First Appearance of Movie Costume in Marvel Comics.

It was only last year that an interior page from a first appearance of a Spider-Man suit sold for $3.36 million at auction. Therefore, since that was an interior and this is a splash, if anyone so chooses to make an offer over that number, my family would be very thankful for your offer lol.

All joking aside, my daughters and I absolutely fell in love with the Miles Morales films. My oldest daughter had a big smile on her face when she found out I picked this up. This might not have been her favorite character in the film, but he was memorable enough for a smile. I think it was her favorite film of the year.

I am a total novice when it comes to Spider-Man. However, from what I have seen, this is one of my top five favorite suits. I love the thick amount of hair sticking out, the unique patterning, and the red Chucks. I guess my love might subconsciously stem from my desire to have a full head of hair once again. Thus, I might be a little biased. However, this is a very refreshing style.

This piece is Scott Hanna inks over blue lines by Tadam Gyadu. Scott Hanna is a veteran Spider-Man artist, and I am more than thrilled to have a piece inked by him.

Of note, being a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, the back of Spider-Man India issue #5 comes with a sweet Guardians of the Galaxy add for Records, CD's, and Tape Cassetts. I just picked up issue #5 today, at my LCS, to have a published image for this piece.

For you I will go Meera Jain
For Hanna pay it higher

Inks keep it steady, cause steady as Hanna do it
(Jai Ho!)
Chai Tea is heavy, so heavy Aunt Maya feels it

(Jai Ho!)
You're the apprearance that I read
(Jai Ho!)
You are the reason that I still believe
(Jai Ho!)
You Guard my Galaxy
Jai Ho! Oh, oh, oh, oh
(Jai Ho!)
No, there is Uncle Bhim can stop us
(Jai Ho!)
Nothing can Spider come between us
(Jai Ho!)
So come web dance with me
Jai Ho! Oh

Thanks ML! I am quite happy with my first published Spider-Man piece. Exactly what I was looking for and I didn't even know it until the moment my eyes first locked on it. Happy Thanksgiving!

By your description and song choice it's clear you love it :)  Classic Spidey pose, and awesome seeing the costume from the Spider-Verse movie.  Gyadu also went to town on the backgrounds - no let up there, and of course you got the most prolific of prolific inkers, Scott Hannah, with the ink assist.  Congrats!

I loved his character in the movie. A great actor and always lots of fun watching the films. Now I am glad I have something from the comics and it was an enjoyable read as well.

Mind-blowingly cool splash page from Spider-Man India by Tadam Gyadu. First time I've seen any pages from this book but if this one is any indication, the comic has to be amazing. Love all the detail Gyadu inculded in this splash. The inks by Soctt Hanna are superb! Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Very cool and Tadam is an amazing artist. I bought the pencils so now we are pencil and blue line ink brothers haha. Great piece no doubt!
