The Last Ronin

2023 GalaxyCon Columbus

The Last Ronin was a smash success for IDW and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, so I definitely wanted to make sure it was represented in my collection. I never quite settled on an artist, and then one day Gavin Smith, who worked as lead artist on the TMNT ongoing series for IDW, posted this incredibly detailed sketch he had noodled on during a slow convention one weekend. The piece was still available when I visited his table during the 2023 GalaxyCon in Columbus, and I couldn't resist buying it.
