The story of Omaha resembles a lot of women. Susan (Susie) Jensen, is an aspiring model from the Midwest who moves to the big city - Mipple City, Minnesota (a play on Minneapolis). When she can't find work as a legitimate model, Susie uses her beauty and modeling to begin working at the strip club called "Kitty Korner Klub". She meets her new friend Shelly Hine there who convinces her to change her stage name to "Omaha". She became very popular, and her beauty got her featured as the centerfold "Kitten of the Month" for Pet Magazine, an adult entertainment magazine like Penthouse.

After working at the club for several months, she and Shelly meet Chuck Katt, an artist who begins to fall in love with Omaha, partly because she considers him "normal" and unlike the others who come to the club. When Minnesota passes a new blue law, shutting down all strip clubs, Omaha and Shelly are put out of work. Shelly soon finds a hidden sub-basement at a restaurant that is owned by a man named Charles Tabey, a powerful, but mentally ill business tycoon. Eventually, they find a new club to dance at... and that is the beginning.
