Description
Age of Apocalypse, easily my favourite X-crossover of all time. Whilst only short lived, I loved how fleshed out the story telling was, including the added backstory told in the pages of X-Men Chronicles. A nice page with a good chunk of X-Men and their AoA leader Magneto rising from the rubble to strike out at Apocalypse’s ship.

I enjoy the clash of styles between Terry Dodson’s smooth rounded figures and Klaus Janson’s striking finishes. Another NYCC pickup, thanks to Ankur. I was also able to meet Dodson and Janson there who autographed the page. Both great guys, very easy to talk to.

Great piece of AOA history, a wonderful era and a fantastic nostalgia.  Huge congrats!

Great point about the style differences between Dodson and Janson. It's a clash but it's a fun one and the end result looks fantastic. This is also a really nice example of Dodson's work as his style was still evolving. The screentone on Magneto's helmet is sweet too.

Wow! Never knew Janson inked Dodson' s pencils. Ever. Hell of a legendary combo. Congrats!
