One of the great Kirby designs of the Silver Age! Beck made it all business with no fancy villain colors with the metal grey finish. You can see mass, weight, and magical power of this brute.
Agreed Marcus, the muted sheen in this piece works well to contrast the visor's disintegrating beam

Thanks J. Wasn't too familiar with his work outside of a few gi joe and star wars book, but he definitely grabbed my attention.
When I was a kid we walked uphill both ways to school, in a storm and we had to wear a heavy suit of armour so the wolves would not pick our bones clean.
The Destroyer has been associated with villainous intent way more than not. I think it 100% applies!
