DescriptionWhile this enchanted suit of armor is not necessarily a villian, it has fallen under control of sinister hands many times throughout the decades including Loki and Doom.David has a pretty wide resume, I mostly know him for his G.I. Joe and Star wars work. However, his rendition of the Destroyer caught my eye. While simple really like the contrast in this piece. Has a Granov feel to it in my opinion. Social/Sharing |

One of the great Kirby designs of the Silver Age! Beck made it all business with no fancy villain colors with the metal grey finish. You can see mass, weight, and magical power of this brute.

Agreed Marcus, the muted sheen in this piece works well to contrast the visor's disintegrating beam

Thanks Ruben. My favorite was when Odin tapped his staff and the destroyer disintegrated the Frost giants in the vault

Great Beck pickup!
Thanks J. Wasn't too familiar with his work outside of a few gi joe and star wars book, but he definitely grabbed my attention.

When I was a kid we walked uphill both ways to school, in a storm and we had to wear a heavy suit of armour so the wolves would not pick our bones clean.

The Destroyer has been associated with villainous intent way more than not. I think it 100% applies!

I actually thought this was Granov when I first saw it. Really awesome depiction of the Destroyer!

An Adi Granov vibe, no doubt, that flat out works for the Destroyer! Nice mix of the comic and movie looks! Congrats!
