Description
Another painting by the German artist Johnny Bruck, 12.5 x 16" gouache on illustration board. This piece was used as the cover for Perry Rhodan #258, published August 12, 1966, and used as the cover for Amazing Stories, March 3, 1969, in the United States. The art was also used for one of the Perry Rhodan card sets (Weltraumschiffe – Space Ships.)

The bright colors proudly proclaim that this is the age of scientific achievement as the end goal of the Space Race was closer than ever.  Very imaginative!
