This is like a Yancy street welcome! Bolton makes you feel the time and place by painting a complete picture using pen and ink.

Gorgeous page from Kull the Conqueror by the incredible John Bolton! Bolton was a great visual storyteller. He had a real cinematic style. He knew just how to frame each panel like the frames of a movie. And because he inked his own pencils, the pages flow like classical art. This page is a great example of his work. Great pick-up, congrats!
