Description
The Gleaner aka Death takes Toshi from Tokyo to Nagasaki (which she has no memories of) and unveils its deadly plan.

Pencils by Jim Fern and inks by Mark Pennington.
11'' x 17'' in Excellent condition.

Miyazaki's Spirited Away meets Asian horror in CROSSING MIDNIGHT (Vertigo, 2007), created and written by Mike Carey (Lucifer, Hellblazer, Sandman, X-Men, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera...).

"At the end of a quest that has bounced her from a mystical realm to the mean streets of Tokyo, Toshi faces The Gleaner, one of the five faces of Death itself. But with a challenge that literally hits too close to home, does the impulsive Hara twin have any hope of succeeding?"

A compelling fantasy/horror series set in the heart of present-day Nagasaki, Japan, CROSSING MIDNIGHT begins when extraordinary twins are born — one just before midnight and the other just after. They discover the huge impact this small difference has on their destinies when one of them is inducted into a world of supernatural beings and events that intersects with our own world. Together, the twins will try to stay one step ahead of their terrifying fates while they learn how far their new world of terror intersects with their own.
