Yes, we all know about the various Earths in the Marvel and DC Multiverses -- but the Comics Multiverses are much larger and more vast than just the ones from those two comics titans. There were and are other comics universe. In fact, the late, great comics writer and editor Mark Gruenwald coined a term for all superhero realities in their totality: the OMNIVERSE!
Many of the comics publishers of the last century are no longer around. Some were around for quite awhile, while others went just as quickly as they came. But just the because the companies are no longer around, does that mean that they characters they introduced and the worlds they lived in no longer exist? Well, not necessarily -- or does it?
So what if these superhero worlds are still around even if they're not being published? And what if a threat emerged that was so great that it threatened the existence of ALL reality? One that expanded beyond any one Universe or Multiverse, but threatened to wipe out every Earth that ever existed? What would such a threat look like -- and who or what would be behind it?
Why don't we take a look and see.
The End of Days will explore this premise, and will provide an opportunity to revisit the many, many characters that we enjoyed throughout the years and decades. Do you remember the heroes of Continuity Comics? Charlton Comics? Atlas Comics? Defiant Comics? Tekno Comics? Malibu Comics? The list goes on and on, and before this is done, we hope to see ALL of them get in on the action!
You might wanna strap in. It's gonna be a bumpy ride!
