Ususally the one with the dark background and sword action has more eye appeal. However, they went with this design that gives this giant monster's size more threatening realism instead of the montage look that could just be playing with scale.
Yes the monster is bigger, she is similar in both, but Conan swinging his sword in the other is cool. But it's lovely to have both Norem's prelim ideas together.
