Description
Don Ivan Punchatz (September 8, 1936 – October 22, 2009) was a science fiction and fantasy artist who drew illustrations for numerous books and publications, including magazines such as Heavy Metal, National Geographic, Playboy, and Time.[1] He illustrated album covers, and provided the cover art for session guitarist Steve Hunter's debut solo album, Swept Away. Characterized as a "skilled hyperrealist with a penchant for the fantastic and absurd" and "elegantly weird", he produced cover art for books by Harlan Ellison, Isaac Asimov and others. His most famous work is probably the box art for the Doom Video Game (1993)

Those extra skills little Johnny is learning in Cub Scouts are going to get him more than just some merit badges. He will get to 10-20    years that is. Of course unless that's Uncle Joe at the table

That looks ike Paul Giamatti in the center panel.  A great idyllic look at suburban America by Don Ivan Punchatz much like how Norman Rockwell put a mirror up to society.  Seems pretty timeless despite all that 70's decor and drab kitchen.
