Description

Title page of issue #2 of a 4 issue mini-comic limited series packaged with Drake's Cakes snack cakes in 1993. Spider-Man swinging into a couple of goons villains on the dock.

Spider-Man is at the docks looking for stolen technology when he finds a shipment destined for Latveria. Wolverine catches up with Spider-Man and asks about his recent encounter with Jubilee and the two end up battling the young mutant's abductor, Sabretooth. Finding a journal written by Bruce Banner in the loot from the ship, Spider-Man and Wolverine decide to track him down.

Pencils by John Hebert with inks by Bill Anderson. Signed at bottom right by John Hebert. Measures 9.75 inches x 7.75 inches. The "Ouch!" word balloon is loose. Ouch!

Fun odd sized comic and thus the artwork would have these scaled down dimensions as well. Hebert didn't waste any space squeezing in the action shot. Probably had a large print run and seen by a lot of people that didn't buy comics before.

Fantastic pick up. I still have ptsd from eating all those drake's food products to get the comics plus the food other comapnies that made you do the same arounf this time.If i remember they did two comics series in a row with them
