DescriptionWowza! Here is one I’ve been looking for most of the time I’ve been an OA collector! Anyone who knows me knows Inferno was my favorite X-men event from my youth… so a couple years later when inferno got the what if treatment of course it was my favorite! The story is etched in my brain… the X-men lose inferno.. the demons take over… Wolverine is a bad guy (spoiler alert he eats a baby in the story! I couldn’t get that page but that’s a story for another day) and this story follows a rag tag team of mixed heroes trying to fight back! It’s got a lot of gruesome moments and not a usual hero’s win. So very glad to have the expected Mordo heal turn and Johnny Storms last stand! Of course including Wolverine and the Goblin Queen make it for me! Hoping to add some more of these pages if I can , dug this one out of Ireland of all places!Social/Sharing |

In the merry mouth of youth from me home I started
Read Inferno tome nearly broken hearted
Saluted monsters there, kissed Queen Goblin lover
Drank a pint of beer, me grief and tears to smother
Then off to reap the Ron, Lim when I was born
Cut a stout John Storm to banish ghosts and demons
A brand new pair of rogues, rattlin' o'er the bogs
Frightenin' all the dogs on the Art Expo to Jason
One two three four five
Hunt and stare and turn her down the Wolvie road
At Art Expo to Jason, Whack Mordo le rah!

I was spotty on my What If reading and don't recall this one, but fun to see Lim on some X stuff. Congrats!

Great page from a great book - super memorable! Awesome you got S'ym and possessed Wolvie here, and every panel with somethin' to see! Congrats!
