Description

From the first time I saw Jorge Forn�s' art I knew I had to have something of his, I love his Batman, he sometimes reminds me of Mazzucchelli, other times of Alex Thot, of John Paul Leon, but his own style is always recognizable.
The truth is that it has been difficult because I had many commitments but Jorge is a fantastic person and made an effort to fit me into his schedule.
I only asked for two things, Year One and Gotham, and this is the result.
The commission is 11x17 (pencil and ink) and yes, it is much better live than reproduction.

Mision accomplished on all acounts and even has some of Eisner's Spirit with the face of the wall somewhat resembling lettering and those above ground electrical wires.

The architecture is spot on. Nice homage to Mazzucchelli. It is amazing how Batman can blend into that background. Congrats on getting this!

I completely agree, Jorge puts a lot of care in the design and execution of the architecture, I really like how in the end the buildings end up becoming another character. Thank you very much for your comment ilia!!

Gorgeous drawing of Batman by the incredible Jorge Fornés! Love this scene with Batman caught in mid-jump between buildings. The pose feels fresh and new! Love the detail Fornés put into the background. the realism of the buildings makes the Dark Knight seem much more real as well. Fantastic commission, congratulations!
