Adventure Comics #397 (1970) pages 12-13: Supergirl confronts a wizard

On these two pages, Supergirl returns for a second round with the wizard Zond, once again following his cultists to a secluded glenn where she interrupts their pagan rites. Her ringer is Morgana, the daughter of Morgan Le Fay, who has an old score to settle with Zond. The "mod" Diana Prince comes along too, just for moral support; she doesn't have any action moments. That monster mask on page 13 freaked me out as a kid.

Page 12 has a couple of oddly shaped stains in the second and third panels. They look like glue residue, but the panels here look just like the published versions, so it doesn't seem that a patch was ever on top of them. In the middle panel, Supergirl's hair has been completely redone with a large patch which leaves the face alone.

In the last panel, Supergirl’s armpits are inked with clothing folds, as if her uniform had sleeves. The cover and other interior images show it to be sleeveless. The colorist had the final say, clothing her arms in blue.
