DescriptionI really liked the perspective in the top panel and how the page flows. I also liked the design of this monster so it was cool to be able to grab a page with him and the Hulk before he took a dirt nap. Good stuff from Nic (always).Social/Sharing |

Hulked out monster fight by Nic Klein! His ink brush and wash work for lighting effects paints a stunning picture. We've never seen Hulked out feet and calves like this before.

Such a great page. I tried to grab it myself but am glad it ended up here. That image from behind Hulk's feet is just so well done. Congrats on a great pick-up.

This is a fantastic action page! Agreed, that first panel is super cool. Also love the astonished (maybe even dumbfounded?) look on Hulk's face. Great storytelling overall!

Nic Klein is never less than amazing. I love his work on the current Incredible Hulk storyline. This page is classic example why. How cool to show the Hulk's confrontation with the monster in this way. The back and forth images of Hulk and the creature are amazing. Love Hulk's expression of surprise in panel 3 as the creature pulls the spear right through its body. And what a cool final panel with the silhouetted image of the monster leaping at Hulk with the recovered spear! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

Agree on that page flow. Some nice storytelling for sure, and cool how you got the Hulk slowly approaching then guy leaping at him in the last panel! Congrats!

Klein's painterly style is perfect on this moody book, but my favorite thing about this page is the weight of the Hulk depicted here, which isn't something many other artists could deliver.
