This is truly a melding in many senses - including both culture as well as aesthetics. Many congrats.
I love his dreamy magical style. Truly a cornerstone piece for your collection. Though, was it Inky Knuckles who repped him? His link goes through to Cadence's site (Though after the recent news, I dobut he's even repped by Cadence either!)
Great piece!
He switched to Cadence about a year ago (unfortunately, it seems).
Ah! Unfortunate indeed!
Fantastic! One of the very best in comics today. Lucky to have him and I'd say lucky you waited as his style as continued to evolve. Spectacular result.
Stunned by the beauty of this one! Love the set up and he colors are just amazing!
A highlight among your commission highlights!
This is wonderful! I need to check out more of Anand's work!
There it is! My hate for you swells within my ample man-bosom...
Mesmerizing.
The palette, compostion, pose, it's fanfreakingtastic! congrats ML.
Beautiful colors on this piece and the pose of Miles is perfect. Another great commission, congrats!
At least it's not raining on him. Good times ahead.
I didn't even know he could paint! Fantastic!
Wow, that is spectacuilar handling and the pose & composition are right on the money. Gorgeous color
Good things always brings me back to you
It never takes too long
Go Spider Mumbai day you choose
I'll still feel you here 'till pandemic is gone
You sold me with your brush
You Inky Knuckle brains
I never wanted anything so much Radhakrishnan your love
Anand feel your reign
Set me free, leave me Green
I don't want to Wall another moment into your Grafity
Here I am, rep Anand
So wall, just the way I'm supposed Blue be
But you're on to Green and all Spidery
What a gem! Everything is so well-observed. Congrats!
Wonderful piece! So much skill, so much heart, and in the perfect home.
Wow! This is absolutely beautiful. What a crossover!
THAT ... is all KINDS of awesome.
Great style - love the vibe! Miles is such a great character with such great visual possiblities, a good commission (or great in this case) seems to always be on tap. Congrats - thanks for sharing!
Beautiful pallet of colors and pose, mixed together to add flavor to the kid on the streets version of spiderman.
YES. Loved this immediately when I saw it on IG and not hard to see why. So deliberate in execution, and so unique in terms of techniques and the choices Anand made.
Was also happy to catch up and see this beaut in person at OAX, M L, congrats!
In awe, this is incredible!! The colors!
too freaking cool. only you would come up with this and only Anand could deliver on it. amazing!!!
This is gorgeous! The colors and the composition are just top notch! Congrats on this!
Wow! The Spider-Man of Mumbai--Fantastic! Gorgeous work by Anand RK! I love this painting of of Spider-Man with his torn cosume, cargo shorts and hightops! It's so cool seeing the Spider-man of the streets of Mumbai! Love the pose, with SM sitting on his haunches, casually using a toothpick! It's all beautifully enhanced by Anand's bright, cheerful colors! The blue skies and puffy cloud behind Spidey, plus the sunshine lighting up the cityscape behind him give the whole painting such an upbeat feeling--I love it!
Beautiful cover worthy commission, Anand's commissions are fantastic. Great choice for their art work.
Loving this artist!
Another incredible (and I mean INCREDIBLE) commission, ML! A brilliant sense of color, life, and depth here that feels instantly and simultaneously classic and completely fresh and new. The colors are amazing and the juxtaposition of their brightness alongside just a dash of urban decay (from the superbly-realized piece of machinery Miles is perched on, to the tears in Miles's costume) lend an indelible sense of... timeless modernity? (That can be a thing, right? ;) ) Giving Miles the cloud of steam backdrop allows Anand to give his all to that gorgeous clear blue sky without fear of losing any bit of Miles to it, and the chef's kiss has to be the small spider web in the bottom right corner. An inspired composition, brilliantly executed. What a piece! Huge congrats again, ML!
