Description
This is Steve McNiven and Jay Leisten's pencil and ink HULK variant cover art for Old Man Logan #35, which was published February 2018!

The 2008/2009 Old Man Logan arc was one of the main stories that got me back into reading comics as an adult. I loved that the story was full of fanfare and fell in love with McNiven's art and the characters the team brought to the pages of each issue.

Pappy Banner, Old Man Hulk first appeared in the climatic Wolverine: Old Man Logan Giant-Size #1 on the cover and on 8 pages in the issue. To my knowledge this guy has only appeared on 4 covers with only two by McNiven plus a few of stories to date.

Fun fact: This version of the Hulk can lend old man Banner his strength even when he's not all hulked out.

It was great to see Marvel bring back Morry Hollowell (Mo!) to do the colors for this cover as he did all the colors for the original OML story with McNiven and team! It really helped seal the feel of the original arc in my opinion.

I wasn't sure which folder to put this in so it's living in my HULK folder for now. Thanks to Ryan for making this one happen.

Thank you! Inking McNiven is no small feat, especially when you get a bulking hairball like this guy.

An original McNiven! I'm wicked jealous. Congrats! And old "Hills Have Eyes" Hulk never looked so badass! Loved this story from start to finish.

OML was one of the very best modern Wolverine stories.  Nice cover representation from McNiven!

Huge congrats, man!  Glad you were able to nab an OML cover by the original team!  Ooh, takes me back to the Giant Size issue :) Great pure illustration from McNiven and inks by Leisten.  Also love how they got old man Banner cleaning his glasses...belies the monster underneath!

The scariest Hulk of all because it knows the evil and vile things he's doing and does it with glee in the Old Man Logan story/world!  McNiven and Leisten bring us a reminder of what truly made Hulk a monster

OMG! What a pick-up! I love Steve McNiven and Jay Leisten's variant cover for Old Man Logan #35! This future variant of the Hulk may be the scariest yet! A Hulk who is truly and irredeemably evil. I love the way McNiven drew Hulk here, with his monstrous size and his hair falling out all over. It looks as if his massive hands are about to crush old man Banner, but he's calmly cleaning his glasses. Jay Leisten does a terrific job on the inks here as well, capturing the power of the evil Hulk and the calm anger of Banner. A really fantastic pick-up, congrats!
