So bad ass. I read the sh!t out of those early issues.
The art was like nothing I had ever seen before. And getting completely sucked into the universe building, origins, etc. was facinating to be a part of in real-time. I recall thinking at the time: this must be how kids in the 60s felt, when Marvel exploded with new characters, titles, etc.
