Spawn Villains

My Spawnuary entry!

I alwaysthought that the great Jerome Opena's Spawn 300 cover was instantly iconic-- and wished the image had another half on the other side of characters to battle the Hellspawn. When the Toddfather announced that villains would be one of the topics, I figured I'd take a crack at it!

Spawn has a great and enduring rogue's gallery, so choosing which baddies to feature was a challenge on it's own. In the end, I picked some characters for their significance to the comic's history (Malebolgia, Mammon, Sinn, Bludd), some character's for their cool looks (Nyx, Godsend), and some for both (Violator, Forsaken, Dakota). And to contrast with the 300 cover, I decided against any symbiote-wearers. Sorry Plague and Mandarin fans!
