Riley Rossmo just gets better and better. Here he's taken on the Golden Age Sandman and brought his frenetic style, but added more depth and details to his work.

The results speak for themselves. This issue has action, adventure, and wonderfully illustrated quiet scenes.

I love complete stories. You can really appreciate the story telling, and Riley does a great job with the pacing and mood.

Nice set up page! We get the exterior to communicate the time period, then the interior of a cold and sterile morgue, enter the Sandman (cue music), and then the lifting of the sheet to just give us a peek at the dead to entice us to turn the page.
