DescriptionI've been after a Batman piece by Brian for awhile and this was a nice addition to my collection. I'm not sure I've seen many penciled pieces by Brian, but I really like the rendering on this. According to Brian this is the only traditional art created for this cover. He inked and colored it digitally. This art was also used for the cover of Batman Arkham Ra's Al Ghul: The Best Of The Demon And The Bat! graphic novel.Social/Sharing |

Very nice mastery of the pencil medium! The shading translates well to the brushy digital paint colors!

I always assumed this was a watercolor cover so it's very cool to see the very tight pencils. Great pick up!
