Description

Case of the Howling Dog by Erle Stanley Gardner- one of the earliest Perry Mason appeared in 1933 in Liberty.
Artist is Frank Godwin who worked in the slicks, had his own illustrated line of Classics similar to NC Wyeth but also did comic strips and even a few Wonder Woman for a while for comic books. Incredibly prolific and incredibly good
